Q: What are your business hours?
A: Our office hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am- 6:00 pm and Sunday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm.

Q: Who will be cleaning my home?
A: Normally, one to two professional cleaners will be regularly assigned to your home or office to perform the service. All of our employees are uniformed, insured, and bonded. Our Cleaning Professionals will not eat, drink, smoke or do things that are inappropriate while inside your home.

Q:  What time will we arrive at your home?
A: Normally, our cleaning hours are from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday to Saturday. If punctuality is the major concern to you every time or on certain days, we recommend that you schedule your cleaning the first one in the morning or the last one (after 6 pm). The reason is during the day, we may encounter many delays such as from prior cleaning or traffic condition. Therefore, for midday service, we give you a two-hour window of time for our arrival.

Q: Is there any cleaning contract required?
A: No, we know that the “implicit” contract is when we earn your trust and approval each time we visit your home. Our business relationship depends on open communication and your candid evaluation of our service. We always appreciate your comments and suggestions of how we can serve you better.

Q: How far in advance do I need to schedule an appointment?
A: Sometimes same day service is available, but other times we may have to book you up to three days down the line. If you set up a fixed routine cleaning with us (bi-weekly, monthly), then you don’t have to worry about it. We just repeat the frequency as agreed on schedule.

Q: Do I have to do something before the cleaning?
A: To make the cleaning as efficient as possible and to save you money, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys, household items or other clutter as much as you can.

Q: Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?
A: No. We bring all the best equipments and cleaning supplies available to give you the best results. In case you want to use your own product(s), we are glad to do that for you too.

Q: Do I need to be home when our cleaners come?
A: No. It’s all up to you. Many of our customers are not home when we clean. Your key will be identified by a number, no name or address will be used for security reasons. For more information on this issue, please see “Your Protection” page under “Our Service”.  If you do not to provide a key and we are unable to access your home for a scheduled cleaning, we have to charge you a lockout fee.

Q: What if I have a security system?
A: If you will not be home when we come to clean, just simply provide us your code. The code is only known by management members. We recommend you provide us with a code that you can change after we leave.

Q: Am I liable for your cleaners’ injuries?
A: No. We take care of worker’s compensation and other liabilities you may have. You just pay for your cleaning visit, that’s it.

Q: Can I add or remove any of additional cleaning tasks?
A: Per your special request, we can add or remove any cleaning tasks on the list within the reasonable scope.

Q: What if I forget a cleaning appointment?
A: We will remind you two days by email and one day by phone in advance. If you miss your appointment on purpose and the appointment is not canceled at least 24 hours in advance, we reserve the right to charge a $25.00 trip fee.

Q: What is your cancellation or re-scheduling policy?
A: Clients may cancel at any time for any reason; Cancellation and re-scheduling policy requires 48-hour notice.

Q: What if something is broken or damaged during the cleaning?
A: We treat your home with complete care and respect. However, should unlikely damage or breakage occurs, Blue Star Cleaning will repair or replace the item. If necessary, insurance claims will be filed.

Q: What if something is lost?
A: Again, Blue Star Cleaning is fully bonded and insured. Our insurance will pay for breakage and loss should they occur. Notification must be made within 48 hours of service.

Q. What are your rates?
A. We base our rates on two main factors: 1) the size of the area to be cleaned, 2) the condition of house or office to be cleaned. The condition includes the degree of dirt built-up, pet hair, clutter and even your lifestyle. That’s why is best to meet with you before quoting you a price.
